Clariant flame retardants honoured at German Innovation Awards
On 9-March-2013, the prestigious German Innovation Award was presented in the historical location of the Palmengarten in Frankfurt, Germany. Clariant was amongst the final five nominees in the category large industry with its halogen free, phosphinate based flame retardants (tradename Exolit® OP). Martin Sicken, head of technical marketing and development, received the honorary certificate on stage.
